We were standing in a ditch by the side of the road capturing the beautiful spring blooms when I had the humbling realization that Hannah and Haven trusted my photography vision whole-heartedly. I mean, why else would they have followed me down the grass hill, across the uneven terrain, and over to the beautiful white bush? While the realization hit me during this Zionsville Mommy & Me session, I really should not have been caught off guard. After all, Hannah and Haven were some of my very first clients when I started my photography journey five years ago. They have truly stuck with me through it all!
Hannah is one of the most passionate and encouraging people I have ever met. From day one, she has encouraged me in my photography business and continues to provide me with the most adorable models! Whether it’s sunset pictures in Florida or family pictures in their beautiful home, the Tuttles have ended up in front of my camera numerous times, but this session was one of the sweetest! Hannah and Haven left the boys at home to have a girls’ photo date.
To be honest, watching the way Hannah and her “little peanut” interacted during the session was slightly emotional for me. You can tell that Haven loves her mama so much and that she was thrilled to have special time with Hannah. Nostalgia filled me as I directed them both into posing and remembered the many times we took photos when Haven was teeny tiny. Where I used to be running backwards to capture pictures of a quick moving toddler, I now watched Haven twirling and grinning with Hannah. She was no longer a toddler but a little girl! I know I will only grow more sentimental in the years to come!

Thank you for being an incredible friend and amazing role model. I can only hope that Harper looks at me the way Haven looks at you when she “grows up.” You are doing a great job raising your children to be kind, inquisitive, and loving. I’m so glad you have given me a front row seat!
